The betrayal of a working mother

A young mother called Chelsea Press has been told that she would be better off if she quit her job - and this is not the only example of working people being let down by the ConDem government.

I believe that the following figures are roughly correct for a single person without children working thirty-five hours per week for the minimum wage:

Tax year 2010-2011: nearly forty pounds each week in tax credits.

Tax year 2013-2014: about ten pounds each week in tax credits.

Furthermore, this betrayal is the work of a government which is making it very hard for unemployed people to find jobs, as I have noted before:

The Work Programme

IDS

Hundred applications

If you vote either Conservative or LibDem, then you are voting to make life hard not only for the unemployed, but also for many working people as well.

  1. Perhaps this sort of thing is what Mandelsohn was talking about, when he was gloating about the Blair administrations plan to "send out search parties looking for immigrants to offer them work, whilst making it harder for Britons to get jobs."

Economic migrants who work together as a group in the host country , leaving children behind in their home countries who are looked after by grandparents, who do not set up home here but merely work and often pool their resources in an attempt to gain advantage from being a minority group and succeed in that.
The struggling British worker , with a home to run and mouths to feed often without a cohesive community to provide support as we once had but has since been destroyed through successive government policy of mass immigration and other insidious schemes, is at a serious disadvantage and as seen from your article is often better off on benefits. Then come the voices from decievers through to the stupid, that the Brits are lazy and wont do jobs immigrants are willing to do.
