Immigration: do you care?

Where to start with the news today?  A lot of outlets are reporting a crisis in schools places, fuelled of course by immigration.  Does that upset you?  Maybe you don't have children, or maybe your child's school is unaffected.  It is easy not to care when you yourself are not a victim.

There is also a comment on one page I read about high rents.  The comment writer works but pays sixty percent of his wage on rent.  If he were not working, then he would have his rent paid by housing benefit. It is not surprising therefore that many working people are struggling to feed themselves while many out of work people arguably lack an incentive to work.

This too is linked to immigation, because immigration is driving up rents.  Immigration = more people = more demand for housing = higher rents = (in some cases) working people struggling to feed themselves.

If you are not affected by these problems, then maybe you enjoy the luxury of not caring.  I write this blog because I do care.

  1. What makes me so angry is that across history and across the world, the left have screwed up every nation they have had their controlling little hands on. Pretty much any nation with Democratic in the name is anything but. You would think that the lefties would be intelligent enough to recognise that any political extreme on either end of the political spectrum is a bad thing. However this is not about the people. These individuals almost without exception have done very well from sneaking around with the avowed intention of subverting popular opinion. My sons often ask how things got so bad in this country. With groups like this, sneaking their way to the top of the Police, Social Services, Education etc. and topping it off with over a decade of labour control, I am amazed we are still standing. I see it so often in this paper and within the comments, we desperately need a new, clean political party like UKIP to throw out corrupt politicians and subversive quangos. We need change, we need it very fast
